

On 27th June, 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Secretary, Red Cross – Punjab , Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their first aid Students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh . Around 57 students from various Parts of Punjab & Chandigarh participated in the session.
Students were given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Deepika Arora. In this talk she explained the following points.

The Participants response was very enthusiastic. They appreciated the cause and came up with many suggestions. A woman amongst the participants shared incident about her husband’s death with liver failure. She was not aware about Live Liver Transplant. She said if she had attended this session five months before, her husband would be alive.
Just lack of knowledge about organ transplants otherwise things could have been better in her life.
