On 22nd June, 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Commandant, Col.Anil Luthra, 1Bn. Chandigarh unit N.C.C., to conduct an awareness talk for their N.C.C. Cadets and J.C.Os. The group of students were from Colleges of Chandigarh. The cadets were very much aware about Organ Donation. Around 400 cadets and J.C.Os participated in the program.
Audience were given an introduction by Mr. Dewan and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Deepika Arora.
The main topics discussed during the programme were :
Importance of Donor card
Importance and needs of Organ Donation
Brain Death and its causes
Expense in kidney and liver transplant.
MOHAN Foundation Activities.
It was a very interactive session as participants asked various questions on Organ Trade and what are we doing to curb that.
