On August 6, 2025, an awareness program on organ donation, along with a job placement drive under the Skill Development Initiative of the Government of Tripura, was organised by Saideep Welfare Society (SWS) in collaboration with MOHAN Foundation at Kanaankta Para, Dhalai District, Tripura. The program was coordinated by Mr. Deepan Gurung (Director, SWS) and the village leaders of Kanaankta Para.
MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mr. Vincent Debbarma (Project Lead, Tripura).
The event began with a warm welcome and introduction by the Director of SWS, who also shared information about various job vacancies in companies located in Chennai, Bangalore, and Kolkata, encouraging participants to apply.
Mr. Vincent then delivered an awareness talk on organ donation through a PowerPoint presentation. He introduced MOHAN Foundation, explained its mission, and highlighted its key initiatives. Participants were also given informative leaflets on organ donation.
The program was attended by around 47 people, including villagers, community leaders, representatives of the skill development team, and the Director and staff of SWS.
