On 24th December 2017, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Times of India (TOI) for an Awareness talk to Asiad Colony, Thirumangalam, Chennai. Mr. Krishnamoorthy from the Asiad Colony, made all the arrangements for the programme.
The programme started at 5.00 pm with a video regarding a small introduction of MOHAN Foundation and Organ donation followed by an Awareness talk by Mr. Siva Shankar - Helpline Executive. This presentation includes “What is organ donation? Why should we donate organs? Who can donate organs? When we can donate? Types of donors, Myths regarding Organ Donation etc.
Finally, the programme concluded at 6.30 pm. Around 10 people participated in the programme, out of them 2 pledged as organ donors. MOHAN Foundation thanks TOI for this initiative.
