On 21st April 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mehr Chand Mahajan (MCM) DAV College Women, Sector -36 Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their students. Around 75 students & faculty attended the session.
Dr. Harjot Kaur, Professor Home Science welcomed all the attendees at the start of the session, and gave a brief introduction to the session's topic.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.
In this talk, she explained the following points: -
The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. The awareness talk ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Harjot Kaur. She encouraged the students to aware the society about organ donation and also how transplant can change lives are extremely powerful. She ended up saying donate organs is a generous and a worthwhile decision that can save lives.
