On 30th April 2022, Mr. Gabriel from MOHAN Foundation conducted an organ donation awareness program at Lar de Estudantes, Altinho, Panjim, Goa. Dr. Amol Mahaldar, Coordinator for Organ Donation cell of IMA Goa, gave a short presentation on Organ Donation and answered questions of the audience related to Kidney care & Organ Donation.
Mr. Gabriel, followed by presenting a PPT and introduced MOHAN Foundation to the gathering, he then discussed the other concepts of organ donation, which was well appreciated by all. Mr. Gabriel gave out flyer of MOHAN Foundation & informed the gathering that he would love to do similar event in their neighbourhoods.
The attendees were priest, nurses from St. Bridget Institute Home Nursing and patients’ family members. 40 people attended the session.
