An Awareness talk on organ donation was organized at Kurnool district by Dr. Mallesh, volunteer of MOHAN Foundation on 18th July 2013. The Programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Dignitaries on the dias were Sri. BY Ramaiah. President, District Congress committee, Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director, MOHAN Foundation, Dr K G Govinda Reddy, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Dr. Venkataiah, District AYUSH Convener.
Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram delivered the talk on Organ donation. Sri B Y Ramiah pledged for organ donation before the audience. Dr K G Govinda Reddy shared his view with few statistics of organ failure and importance of organ donation. Dr. Venkatiah promised to spread the message among his group. About 100 youth from different parts of Andhra Pradesh attended the programme.
