Mr. Barla Ram, GHMC Secretary of champapet area, LB nagar circle, Hyderabad, Telangana State, requested MOHAN Foundation to conduct awareness session on organ donation on the occasion of 73rd Republic day at GHMC community hall.
On 26th January 2022, Dr. Bhanu Prakash, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation conducted awareness program on organ donation.
After the flag hoisting, Dr. Bhanu Prakash explained the concept of brain death, importance of the organ donation, eye and body donation and myths around organ donation.
Ex Corporator, Mr. Raghu Ram Reddy and Secretary Mr. Barla Ram appreciated the activities of MOHAN Foundation.
Close to 50 members attended the session. Donor cards and brochures were distributed at the end of the session.
