  On 26^th April 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Sector -44 Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their students.  Around 60 students and teachers attended the session.

   

  Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.

  • When and how does organ donation take place
  • Organs that can be donated during life and after death
  • The transplant waiting list in India
  • Brain death
  • Difference between brain death and coma

  • Eye Donation

   

  The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. They would love to share their wish with their families and also respect for the body after death.  Brochures were also given to the participants.
