  On 8^th September 2021, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mrs. Harjinder Kaur, NSS Program Officer to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their senior students at Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Khuda Ali Sher, Chandigarh.  Around 75 students from class 12^th attended the session.

   

  At the beginning of the session, Mrs. Harjinder Kaur, NSS Programme Officer addressed the gathering and gave the brief introduction on organ donation to the participants.

   

  Firstly, Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch introduced herself to the students and started asking students that which organs can be donated while living? Most of the students were aware about kidney transplant.

   

  Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.

  The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. The awareness talk ended with a vote of thanks by the Mrs. Harjinder Kaur. She encouraged the students to aware the society about organ donation and also how transplant can change lives are extremely powerful. She ended up saying donating organ is a generous and a worthwhile decision that can save lives.
