  On 16^th December 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr. Reetu Agarwal, NSS Program Officer to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their NSS Volunteers.  Around 40 NSS volunteers attended the session.

   

  Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.

  • The transplant waiting list in India
  • Brain death
  • Difference between brain death and coma
  • Contraindications to organ donation

  • Eye Donation

   

  The Session was very interactive where students enthusiastically asked many questions. All the questions were answered after the presentation. 5 NSS Volunteers took the donor card. The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. They would love to share their wish with their families and also respect for the body after death.
