On 20th April, 2015 MOHAN Foundation Chandigarh conducted Awareness Program for the students of GMHS-37, Chandigarh under the “Student Awareness Campaign” which started on to cover all the government schools of Chandigarh. The session which was conducted in GMHS -37 covered all the students of 10th standard. The principal of the school was really helpful in conducting the session.
Around 100 students participated in the program and were given information brochures .The Programme Coordinator Nilakshi from MOHAN Foundation explained the students about Organ donation and brain death through the presentation and video. The students actively listened the presentation and promised they will pass on the information to their friends and family.
It was indeed an interesting session where students got so motivated that, they promised they will learn more on this and promote it.
