On April 9, 2013, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness talk on Organ Donation for the students of Delhi Technological University, formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering. Ms Pallavi Kumar conducted the talk.
With a history stretching back over 65 years, providing technical education within a modern educational environment and strong academic staff, DCE is strongly identified with engineering education in India. The talk was organised by Raunaq Rewari, a 3rd Year student of the college who has taken upon himself to help the Foundation create awareness on organ donation. The talk was held under the aegis of the Rotaract club of the College.
Close to 50 students attended the talk and about 15 of them took the donor card. There was a very heated discussion and the students asked a lot of intelligent questions.
