On 06, January 2016, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School Sector-26, Chandigarh. The awareness program was organized by talking to the NSS coordinator of the school, who was really forthcoming to organise this talk. Sri Guru Gobind Singh has 4 different campuses where the talk has already been conducted and they support the cause whole heartedly.
The students from 11th and 12th standard participated in the talk and they were given a presentation on Organ donation and Brain Death by Nilakshi. The whole process of organ donation and organ pleading were explained to them and they were asked to ask questions, in case of any confusion. To which, they asked various intelligent questions.
It was indeed an amazing session and the NSS in charge was really appreciative for the cause and said she will look forward for more such sessions.
