On 10th August, 2013, the HRD, Life Style at Express Avenue Mall invited MOHAN Foundation, Chennai to organize a session on organ donation for their employees.
The session was conducted by Ms. Kavitha. S, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai. A group of 55 employees attended the programme. The following aspects were highlighted in the programme:
The participants raised queries about organ sharing and allocation, contraindications in donating organs and tissues, whom to be contacted in case of emergency. At the end of the session, 53 employees showed their support for the cause by taking a pledge to become an organ donor.
