On 15 to 17th February 2019 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team set a information desk on organ donation at The Lalit Hotel during 16th National Annual Conference of the Indian Chapter of international Hepato Pancreato Biliary Association (IHPBA INDIA 2019 ) organized by SIDSS ( Santokba Institute of Digestive Surgical Sciences )
The Santokba Durlabhji Trust was founded in 1958 with a vision to provide quality care to the common man – without favor or discrimination.
The Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital was established in 1971. Inaugurated by the then Prime Minister, Smt. Indira Gandhi, the hospital was dedicated to the Armed Forces as the nation was then in the throes of a war with Pakistan. Mr. Roshan Bahadur and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF team and provide the information regarding organ donation to visitors. More than 500 visitors approached and got the information about noble cause of organ donation. 200 visitors picked up the donor cards and posed with organ donation message board to support the cause.
On day 3rd during valedictory function Mr. Rajiv Arora, Chairman (MFJCF) and Mrs. Bhavna Jagwani, Convener ( MFJCF) were felicitated by SDMH for their contribution to make cadaver organ donation successful in Rajasthan.
