On 15th September 2013, the Guru Nanak Educational Society held their Annual General Meeting in the college campus. About 65 members of the society attended the meeting. MOHAN Foundation was asked to set up a information stall near the registration desk. All the members were given information flyers in Gurumukhi and in English. 18 members pledged to become organ donors and picked up donor cards.
Some of the donors wanted to ensure that their organs will go to poor patients only. Others wanted to clarify the role of MOHAN Foundation during the process of donation. Since most of the members were senior citizens they felt they could not be donors.
