


On 13th December 2022, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on Organ Donation at Nirmaan Vocational Center. The session was conducted in two sessions for the students of the training centre. Ms. Srividya Subramanian was the key resource.
Nirmaan Organisation, or My India, is a voluntary organization formed by the students of Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, it focuses on providing education and employment opportunities to economically challenged people of the society.
Ms. Srividya.S started the session by asking a few introductory questions on Organ Donation and then introduced MOHAN Foundation to the participants and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following were discussed in detail:
Ms. Srividya. S spoke about the future of Organ Donation in India and played “Live life Varun size” and “celebrating life” videos to motivate the students for organ donation. Close to 60 students were sensitised in the session.
Donor cards and brochures were distributed at the end of the session.
