On August 13, 2025, an Awareness Session on Organ Donation was conducted by the MOHAN Foundation at ONGC, 11 High, Sion, Mumbai. The session saw the enthusiastic participation of 50 attendees, comprising ONGC employees and staff. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and encourage individuals to make informed decisions about pledging their organs.
The session was led by Ms. Sakshi Kshirsagar from the MOHAN Foundation, who delivered an informative and engaging presentation. The speaker explained the concept of organ donation, the difference between living and deceased donation, and the need for organ donors in India. Emphasis was placed on how one organ donor can save up to 8 lives, making organ donation one of the most impactful acts of kindness and social responsibility.
