On 14th August, 2013 an awareness session on organ donation was organised for the employees of Larsen and Turbo Limited, Bangalore. Ms. Smeja Paul, Project Manager, MOHAN Foundation, Bangalore conducted the session.
Ms. Paul in her presentation spoke about organ donation. Further; she also spoke about brain death, difference between brain death and cardiac death, difference between brain death and coma, and about the importance of signing the donor card.
A total of 26 employees attended the talk and 14 of them picked up the donor card. At the end there was a question and answer session. Ms. Paul cleared all the doubts. The gathering appreciated the efforts taken by MOHAN Foundation to spread awareness about the issue
