On December 18, 2024, the MOHAN Foundation team organized an awareness session for senior secondary school students at Auxilium High School. The objective of the session was to educate the students and staff about the importance of organ donation. The session addressed common myths surrounding organ donation and explained the concept of brain stem death, clarifying how it differs from a coma. Legal frameworks and state government guidelines were also discussed in detail. Topics such as who can donate organs, which organs and tissues can be donated, and the process of organ donation were covered comprehensively.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, where various queries were addressed. Nearly 450 individuals, including students, teachers, and staff, attended the session.
