On February 20, 2026, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh from MOHAN Foundation conducted an organ donation awareness stall at Blinkit Warehouse, Cheshire Road, Ranchi. The stall was organized for Blinkit staff with the objective of spreading awareness about organ and tissue donation and helping employees understand the importance of this life-saving cause. Workplace awareness initiatives are highly valuable, as they create an opportunity to engage directly with staff members, encourage informed discussions, and promote social responsibility within professional environments.
During the stall, Mr. Singh explained the concepts of organ and tissue donation, brain death, and cardiac death in simple and easy-to-understand language. He also provided information about which organs and tissues can be donated and discussed the legal aspects related to organ donation in India. In addition, common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation were clarified, ensuring that the participants received accurate knowledge and a better understanding of the donation process.
A total of 38 staff members attended the stall and actively participated in the discussion. The session was interactive and informative, with employees showing interest in learning more about organ donation and its impact on saving lives. One of the questions raised during the session was, “Is a donor card compulsory for organ donation?” This query was addressed during the discussion, helping participants understand the role of donor cards and the importance of family consent in the donation process.
Overall, the awareness stall was meaningful and effective in helping employees understand the importance and process of organ donation. The activity reflected MOHAN Foundation’s continued commitment to spreading awareness, dispelling misconceptions, and encouraging positive attitudes toward organ and tissue donation through community and workplace outreach initiatives.
