A session on raising awareness about eye donation took place on May 16, 2026 at PHC Sakharshet, Jawhar.
Approximately 32 participants attended the event with the main aim of highlighting the importance of eye donation in restoring vision for individuals affected by corneal blindness.
The session covered topics such as the eye donation process, eligibility requirements, and dispelling common myths surrounding eye donation. Emphasis was placed on the significance of pledging one's eyes and encouraging both family members and community members to support this cause.
Participants actively engaged in the session, demonstrating a keen interest in understanding the social and humanitarian impact of eye donation. They were urged to spread awareness within their communities and foster a positive perception of eye donation in society.
