The session provided detailed information on the concept and significance of eye donation, highlighting its role in restoring vision for individuals affected by corneal blindness. Participants were informed about the eye donation process, eligibility criteria, and the necessary steps to be taken at the time of donation.
Common myths and misconceptions surrounding eye donation were addressed and clarified with factual information, helping to build a better understanding among the attendees. The session also encouraged participants to consider pledging for eye donation and to spread awareness within their communities.
Approximately 8 staff members attended the session. Despite the small group size, the participants were attentive and engaged, making the session informative and meaningful.
