On March 21, 2026, MOHAN Foundation organized an awareness program on organ donation at Holakhet gram panchayet, Udaipur, Gomati, Tripura. The session was conducted for the members of the Maa Shakti Self-Help Group as part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to promote awareness about organ donation and transplantation among the public.
Mr. Vincent Debbarma, Project Lead, Tripura, represented MOHAN Foundation at the session.
The program began with an introduction to the MOHAN Foundation, followed by the distribution of informational leaflets on organ donation. Mr. Vincent explained the concepts of living and deceased organ donation, highlighted how one donor can save multiple lives, and emphasized the importance of spreading awareness and pledging to donate organs. He also screened a short video titled “Gift of hope,” developed by MOHAN Foundation, Tripura.
Around 21 participants attended the program, allowing for meaningful interaction and an engaging discussion following the awareness session.
