

On February 23, 2026, MOHAN Foundation organized an awareness program on organ donation at Agartala Government Medical College & Govinda Ballabh Pant (AGMC & GBP) Hospital, Kunjaban, Agartala, West Tripura. The session was conducted at the Nephrology Outpatient Department (OPD) as part of the Foundation’s continuous efforts to promote awareness about organ donation and transplantation among the public.
Ms. Nipa Modak, Program Executive, represented MOHAN Foundation during the session.
The program began with an introduction to MOHAN Foundation, followed by the distribution of organ donation information leaflets. Ms. Nipa Modak explained the concepts of living and deceased donation, highlighted how one donor can save multiple lives, and emphasized the importance of creating awareness and pledging to donate organs.
Around 15 participants attended the program, which allowed for meaningful interaction and discussion in the Nephrology OPD setting at AGMC & GBP Hospital.
