An awareness program on organ donation was conducted on 19th November, 2024 at Adyar Ananda Bhavan, South Usman Road, T. Nagar. Ms. Evanglin Gifta (Intern from MMM College of Allied Health Sciences) & Ms. Arshiya Fathima (MOHAN Foundation) were the resource persons.
The session aimed to educate the participants about the importance of organ donation and the viability of organ donation and transplantation. The program began with a detailed briefing on the concept of organ donation and transplantation, explaining how it can save lives and improve the quality of life for many patients in need.
The session covered key topics such as
Special emphasis was placed on the 24/7 helpline number, which provides support and clarifies any doubts regarding organ donation and transplantation. Around 11 staff participated in the session and cleared all their doubts.
