Auto Drivers in Nagpur learn about Organ Donation

  • MOHAN Foundation conducted an organ donation awareness programme for auto drivers at Nagpur Metro station on 15th September 2020. Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation interacted with the audience.

    The following points were discussed:

    • What is Organ donation?
    • Types of death
    • Natural death & Brain death
    • Whom to contact for organ donation?
    • What is the time duration for organ donation?
    • What is the age limit for organ donation?
    • Time factor in organ donation
    • Difference between coma and brain death
    • What are the legal aspects of organ donation and transplantation?

    Mr. Behera requested all participants to use MOHAN Foundation’s website and helpline number and thanked the participants for supporting the noble cause.
