MOHAN Foundation, Bangalore organized an awareness programme on organ donation at BES College, Bangalore on 26th July, 2013. 60 students participated in the session. Ms.Vidhya Gowri, Faculty, Department of English also attended the programme. 46 participants picked up the donor card and duly signed it.
Ms. Vidhya Gowri said; “Organ Donation has been now well accepted among the youths though there are certain false notions and beliefs still associated with it. The willingness to donate organs is gradually increasing as people are realizing the value of it”. She further appreciated the efforts taken by MOHAN foundation to promote this noble cause and asked the students to take up the responsibility of spreading the awareness among the public.
