On Dec 23 & 24, 2022 Organ Donation Ambassadors Ms Vedikha N and Ms Preetha P set an information desk at the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT). The desk was active for three hours in the morning. Information brochures, green ribbons, registration forms and a standee were placed at the desk.
Around 30 people visited the stall and 18 people registered as organ donors. It was interesting to note that at first, people ignored the desk and later, they enquired about organ donation and registered for it. One traveller made his wife and son talk to us and give their consent for his registration. Women travellers did not approach the information desk.
