Organ Donation Ambassador Mr Vikram Bansal, collaborated with NGO ORGAN India to facilitate and participate in an Organ donation Awareness program at his workplace - Path Infotech Ltd. He wanted to help to spread awareness in the organization, particularly as there was a loss one employee to Organ failure. The session was conducted online on May 30, 2023 and attended by 70 employees.
The speaker was Dr Saurabh Sharma, who gave an overall review of the concepts of organ donation. A short video clip of recipients was played. Mr Bansal was asked to to speak a bit about his experience as a liver recipient, as well as about his willingness to support the cause.
There was a free interaction with the audience.
