  On 17^th November 2022, Mrs. Praveen Mahajan, Ambassador, MOHAN Foundation and Resource person of HP Red Cross organised awareness talk on Organ Donation for the Staff of Cassia Resorts, Solan Himachal Pradesh. Around 30 participants attended the session.

   

  In this talk, she explained the following points: -

  • The transplant waiting list in India
  • Brain death
  • Difference between brain and coma
  • Contradictions to organ donation
  • Transplant law
  • Role of MOHAN Foundation
  • Organ donation myths and facts

   

  At the end Mrs. Praveen Mahajan gave the vote of thanks. All of them took the donor cards. They would love to share their wish with their families. All the questions were answered after the presentation.
