  • An Organ Donation Awareness Session was held on 1 July 2026 at Parth Public School, Gharaunda, Karnal. The session was organized during the First Aid Training Program for 20 Private School Bus Drivers.

    The session was conducted by Dr. Neena, who explained the importance of organ donation in saving lives. She covered a wide range of topics, including:

    • Need for organ donation and its life-saving impact
    • Process of organ donation — when and how it takes place
    • Organs that can be donated during life and after death
    • Transplant waiting list in India and the urgent demand-supply gap
    • Brain death vs coma — understanding the difference
    • Contraindications to donation
    • Role of MOHAN Foundation in promoting awareness and facilitating donations
    • Myths and facts surrounding organ donation

    The drivers listened attentively, asked questions, and showed interest in the subject. The session helped clear doubts and encouraged participants to spread awareness in their communities.

    Overall, the program was successful in creating awareness about organ donation and motivating the drivers to consider it as a noble act of giving life to others.
