  On 14^th September 2022, Mrs. Praveen Mahajan, Ambassador, MOHAN Foundation organised awareness talk on organ donation for the employees of NHPC, Sewa-II Mashka, Jammu & Kashmir. Around 25 participants attended the session.

   

  In this talk, she explained the following points: -

  • When and how does organ donation take place
  • Organs that can be donated during life and after death
  • The transplant waiting list in India
  • Brain death
  • Difference between brain and coma
  • Contradictions to organ donation
  • Transplant law
  • Role of MOHAN Foundation
  • Organ donation myths and facts

   

  At the end, Mrs. Praveen Mahajan gave the vote of thanks. All of them took the donor cards. They would love to share their wish with their families. All the questions were answered after the presentation.
