  The audience

  Organ donation ambassador and intern of MOHAN Foundation, Ms. Christy C, a student of MMM College of Health Sciences delivered a virtual talk on organ donation on 30^th September 2021. The audience were students and staff of IIDA Skills Academy, Aminjikarai, Chennai. Ms. Ishwarya, Research Associate of MOHAN Foundation was also present during the talk.

  Concept of organ donation, brain-death, process of organ donation, organ donation laws in India, need for organ donation, method of registering oneself as an organ donor, and MOHAN Foundation’s role in promoting this noble cause, were some of the topics that were covered. The participants were also encouraged to spread the awareness about organ donation among their families and friends.

  According to feedback received from the institution, out of the 36 students who participated, 15 expressed their willingness in becoming organ donors.
