On 30th August 2016 an awareness rally on Organ Donation started from the Kasturchand Park, RBI Square, Nagpur and it ended at Variety Square, Nagpur.
Doctors, Nurses, students, lecturers officials and members of four institutions participated on that rally. Government Medical College (GMC), Superspeciality Hospital, M. J. College and Bhagnimandal Buldi, Nagpur were the organizations who jointly made the rally possible. Over five hundred people participated in the rally.
Dr. Ravi Wankhede Director of MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur center participated in the rally. Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant coordinator distributed brochures & he gave information to public about organ donation and transplantation.
On the way Dr. Manish Shrigiriwar, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Superspeciality Hospital, raised slogans regarding Organ Donation. Some of dignitaries also spoke a few words regarding Organ Donation and Transplantation.
