69th Independence Day celebration and Organ donation awareness talk at Magilam Apartments

• On 15^th August 2015 MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct organ donation awareness programme in Magilam Apartment, Zamin Palavaram. The programme was started at 07.55am with a flag hosting followed by a welcome address given by Mr. Sakthivel Magilam Flat Owners’ & Residents Welfare Association member during his talk he appreciated MOHAN Foundation for their support and work towards the cause. The programme was organized by Mr. Manoj Mundhra Magilam Flat owners’ & Residents welfare Association. Ms.Sunitha Transplant Coordinator MOHAN Foundation Chennai delivered a talk and put up an information stall.

  During her talk she covered the following topics

  • MOHAN Foundation Activities 
  • Importance and need of organ donation
  • Types of donations – live and deceased donation
  • Importance of Donor card, helpline number and website. 

  Green Ribbons given to all the participants to show their support to the cause. Cultural event was presented by the children which  evokes the feeling of patriotism in the heart at the end of the day Ms. Sunitha thanked the organising committee for inviting MoHAN Foundation and supporting the noble cause.
