  MOHAN Foundation joined the hands with Y’s Men Club to create awareness among the members of the Club on 28^th April 2013. District conference of Bangalore District is one of the most important gatherings of Y’smen. To mark this occasion they organised an organ donation awareness campaign in association with MOHAN Foundation at the BEL Officers Club, Jalahalli, Bangalore. The campaign was inaugurated with the handing over of a Donor Card to Mr. P. V. Kurian in the presence of Mr. Kochouseph Chittilappiy, Guest of Honour of the programme, Ms. Smeja Paul, MOHAN Foundation’s Project Manager and Mr. Col A.K. Rappai, organizer of the programme.  MOHAN Foundation was asked to put up an information stall at the conference.

  Mr. Kochouseph Chittilappiy, Chairman, V-Guard Group addressed the gathering. He shared his  experience of kidney donation to a poor man from Kerala. He gave an inspirational talk and explained the concept of cadaver donation including brain death to the people present at the conference. He asked the gathering to support the cause and to join hands with MOHAN Foundation to make it as an effective programme. His speech inspired lot of people present there and 45 of them picked the donor cards and offered their support with us.  Ms. Smeja distributed information brochures “Priceless Gift” to the participants of the conference.
