Worley invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct an educational webinar for its employees, on June 14, 2024 at 2PM, as part of its employee engagement initiatives.
It was heartwarming to note that more than 500 employees from pan India offices of Worley attended the webinar. Ms. Jaya Jairam conducted the webinar and touched upon concepts of organ donation, brain death, organs and tissues that can be donated, process, legal and socio-cultural aspects.
The webinar was conducted in an interactive manner with many participating enthusiastically. A few of the queries asked included –
1. Even if the individual has pledged his/her organs, is it necessary for the family to give consent?
2. Is the body given back to the family post organ donation?
Ms. Jaya shared the QR code, website URL and the Helpline number with the participants in the chat box and encouraged them to pledge their organs.
