MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr. D. T. Powar, Regional Transport Officer, Giripeth, Nagpur to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for drivers who apply for vehicles registration and driving license on 14th October 2016.
Mr. Bulu Behera delivered a talk on Organ donation. In his talk he explained the following points:-
It was a very interactive session. Approximately 31 drivers were present during the talk. 2 drivers signed consent form and took a donor card.
The Drivers asked the following questions:-
Why you are doing awareness program?
Can a Living person donate a heart?
Is Heart transplant done in Nagpur?
