Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Nagpur, conducted Organ donation awareness session for its staff at Hingna, Nagpur. This program was conducted specially for school staff on 25 March 2015. Shri. B. M. Umberkar invited to MOHAN Foundation to give a talk on organ donation. Ms. Kanchan Shewde transplant coordinator of MOHAN Foundation gave the talk on Organ donation and transplantation.
Kanchan stressed the importance of understanding Brain death and importance of organ donation. She explained the types of death. She also told about MOHAN Foundation and its activities. She made a request to visit MOHAN foundation website. More than 20 staff was present during that talk.
After the talk, Miss. Kanchan Shewde interacted with the staff of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. The following questions were raised.
