On March 30, 2013 MOHAN Foundation's team was invited to take a session on organ donation for the inmates of Vardaan Senior Citizen Centre, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. The session was organized by “TARANG” a group of students pursuing Journalism & Mass Communication from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Pitampura, New Delhi as part of their PR (public relation) campaign.
The session was attended by 25-30 inmates and citizens from neighbouring areas. The talk was well received by the senior citizens who had lot of queries on body donation. One of the lady attendee who had recently donated her father in law’s body to AIIMS shared her personal experience with the group and the immense gratification which she feels till date after doing this noble deed.
