Students of Alamin Urdu School learn about Organ Donation

• A health and hygiene session was organized by Alamin Urdu School, Belagavi for its students on 20th January 2020. As a part of this initiative, MOHAN Foundation was invited to address the students on the topic of organ donation.

  MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mrs. Sheetal Mundada. The following were the topics discussed:

  • Introduction about MOHAN Foundation
  • Brain Stem Death
  • Circulatory Death
  • Jeevasarthakathe and its role
  • Organ allocation system in Karnataka
  • Importance of a Donor Card

  A group of around 180 enthusiastic, eager students attended the session. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to the school management for the opportunity.
