MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Narendra Taksande, Principal of Blind Relief association school, Rahate colony, Nagpur, to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for teaching and non teaching staff, on 18 January 2017.
Ms. Kanchan Shewde transplant coordinator of MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur center, delivered a talk on Organ Donation. In her talk she explained the following points:-
It was a very interactive session. 20 teaching and non teaching staff were present at the talk. 4 of them signed consent form and took donor card.
Teaching and Non teaching staff asked the following questions:-
1) If person is blind then can they donate cornea?
2) What is the process of Body donation?
3) What is the process of skin donation?
