At a grand function held at Ravindra Bharati on 8th February 2017, Sri. Ramanachary and his wife, Smt. Pushpalatha pledged to donate their body to Osmania Medical College after their death. This was facilitated by Lions Club of Buddhapurnima, and the Assistant Professor of Osmania Medical College received the will from Sri. Ramanachary.
At this time, Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director of MOHAN Foundation, spoke about the importance of organ donation, and how one donor can give a new lease of life to at least nine people that are waiting for a life saving organ.
The 500 odd people in the audience gave a standing ovation for Sri. Ramanachary's gesture.
