   On 17^th January 2022, MOHAN Foundation in association with Transplants – Help The Poor Foundation was invited by Col Amodh Chandana (CMO of 20 MAH Bn NCC Unit) to create awareness about organ donation to NCC Cadets The webinar was organized by in-charge of NCC Unit Major Jaspal Singh.

  Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi began her session by introducing MOHAN Foundation and its activities.

  She then discussed the following topics about organ donation

  1. Concept of organ donation and tissue donation.

  2. Types of death.

  • Brain death
  • Circulatory death

  3. Bone donation and its procedure was introduced to the participants.

  4. How skin and bone donation can be even done at home.

  5. Donor card and its importance was explained.

  6. MOHAN Foundation helpline number was displayed to the participants.

  Flyers were distributed to the participants. The session inspired and motivated 44 participants to pledge their organs.88 participants attended the session. Ms. Prarthana invited the audience to volunteer for volunteering programmes at MOHAN Foundation.
