  • On May 2, 2015 MOHAN Foundation organized a musical evening titled Samarthan towards the noble task of creating awareness on organ donation at Zorba, New Delhi.

The evening was graced with many distinguished personalities and supporters of the cause and made memorable by the beautiful music played by the Zoya Band. Zoya 'Born out of light' in Persian and 'Gift of God' in Arabic- is the confluence of hearts, souls, minds and talents of four awesome buddies and fantastic musicians. Their music surpasses all boundaries of music and is like a flowing river, changing and rejuvenating everything it touches.

Ms. Pallavi started off the event with a short presentation, wherein she spoke briefly about the status of organ donation in our country and the importance of awareness about the same. She also took a moment and thanked all the donor families who in the darkest hour of their lives had found the strength to give a new lease of life to people they had never ever met nor would.

There was also a sign up session where people came forward and pledged their organs.

The evening was a beautiful one, with the cool wind adding to its appeal. Everyone seemed to be relaxed, hypnotized by the beautiful music. While they were others who were catching up with their friends.

Close to 300 people attended the event to demonstrate their support and passion for the cause. The event was a success and appreciated by one and all.
