On 2nd September, 2013 Mr. P. T. Prabhakar, Director, Rotary International visited the MOHAN Foundation office in Chennai. The other Rotarians who came along with him were: A. P. Kanna, District Governor; Rotarian Kumaravel, President, Home Club of Rotary International; and Rotarian Mythili, Director, Community Service – Health.
The visit was initiated by Dr. Ravi Wankhede, Director, MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur. They were invited to visit the office by Dr. Sunil Shroff, Managing Trustee, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai and Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Director, MOHAN Foundation.
Dr. Sumana Navin, Course Director, MOHAN Foundation; Dr. Shroff and Mrs. Raghuram briefed the Rotarians about the activities of Mohan Foundation. It was also elucidated how the Rotary can participate in awareness building activities. A video about organ donation was screened for the guests.
The Rotarians assured their support and also invited the Foundation to participate during a mass marathon which is going to be organised when Mr. Ron Burton, President, Rotary International visits Chennai at the end of the year.
