On 01st March, 2015, Rotaract Club of Aditya, Anna Nagar invited Cadaver Transplant Programme to support an Awareness Walk from Light House (Marina Beach) to Vivekananda House. Dr. Hemal & Mr. Prakash K. Transplant Coordinators MOHAN Foundation, Chennai participated in the Walk. During the Walk the participant carried placards and banners to educate the public. All the morning walkers were given an information brochure on how to pledge your organs.
At the start of the Walk, the Rotart Club President, Srinivasan thanked his members for joining the walk. Dr Hemal spoke to them about the importance of the cause. At the end of the walk Dr. Hemal and Mr. Prakash distributed pledge forms and information brochures. Nearly 120 students participated in the walk. Totally 100 participant pledged their organs and took the donor card.
