Every year in July, motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country come together to celebrate International Jawa-Yezdi Day. This special day pays homage to the timeless Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles that have captured the hearts of bikers for generations.
In Chennai, the Roaring Rider Club takes their celebrations to the next level by promoting organ donation awareness as part of their festivities. The club has been partnering with MOHAN Foundation for the past 5 years to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation.
During their monthly meeting on August 6th, 2023 at Hotel Ashoka in Egmore, the club distributed information brochures and green ribbons to commemorate Organ Donation Day. Over 50 club members participated in the activity and pledged to support the cause. Many of them had already pledged their organs and acquired a donor card in a previous event. The initiative to promote organ donation was led by Mr. Srinivas Kashyap.
